  • PDF documents: Open in the browser with reading, search, highlighting, notes, drawing and saving — no separate program. The saved copy goes to your Downloads folder. Nothing goes to the cloud.

Flatpak

Vsaka distribucija s Flatpakom, tudi starejše (npr. Linux Mint 21): Fedora, openSUSE, Arch, elementary OS in druge. Naš spletni pogon je v paketu, okolje GNOME se namesti iz Flathuba.

Namestitev

DEB – Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Debian

  1. Prenesi datoteko.
  2. V mapi Prenosi jo dvoklikni – odpre se Namestilnik paketov, v katerem namestitev potrdiš z geslom.
    Ali v terminalu v mapi Prenosi: sudo apt install ./safeer-browser_1.0.132_amd64.deb

Nato Safeer Browser zaženi iz menija aplikacij.

Flatpak – vse distribucije

  1. Če Flatpak še ni nameščen, ga namesti iz svoje distribucije (na primer sudo apt install flatpak, sudo dnf install flatpak ali sudo pacman -S flatpak).
  2. Namesti paket; potrebno okolje se samodejno prenese iz Flathuba: flatpak install --user ./Safeer-Browser-1.0.132-x86_64.flatpak
  3. Zaženi ga iz menija aplikacij ali z ukazom flatpak run io.github.memelandfaner.SafeerBrowser

AppImage zaenkrat ni na voljo – uporabi .deb ali Flatpak.

Limitations and transparency

Built-in filters remove most advertising scripts and dangerous domains, but the web keeps evolving, so some ads or special DRM content may require specific external browsers.
